That's Lightbox! A brand new creative suite built from the ground up to be AI native. The first experiment we're shipping are Pipelines. An all batteries included AI workflow builder for creating things like product photo shoots, youtube face reactions and more!

Lightbox works just like Cursor, use chat to explain your changes and watch it go brrrr. Here's an example of it generating testimonial videos about Salesforce.

What does Lightbox mean for emojis.com users? Honestly, not much (and in a good way)!

We're still going to provide continued support to all of our existing users and keep making the platform better. Not only that, but everyone can also re-use their existing emojis.com account and subscription to generate images and videos on Lightbox.

Over the past two weeks, we've been focusing on building the foundation for Pipelines, our vision for modern AI design workflows.

Further clarity on credits

We've kept listening to your feedback, and we're continuing to iterate on the credit experience.

You can now directly manage and see useful information about your subscriptions in settings. Information that you would expect to find like how many credits you have left, next renewal date and more.

Additionally, we've also made improvements and clarified the language when running out of credits and upgrading to the next tier.

There's a new addition to the emojis.com family! You can now access and search your favorite emojis directly from Raycast.

Pipelines in Beta

We're excited to announce that all users can now access the new Pipelines feature. It's still early day and you might run into some bugs, but give it a try and let us know what you think. We read every single piece of feedback. 😜

Bringing clarity to credits

We've been closely listening to all of your feedback since we introduced the new pricing system, and recognize that there's not enough clarity around consumption and renewals.

We're actively working towards more transparency around credit usage. As a first step, we just shipped a new usage panel in the Settings page.

• Added the ability to view your Pipeline run history
• Made it easier to connect and drag around edges for Pipeline nodes
• New image lightbox with support for zooming and panning
• Pipelines can now be shared and duplicated
• Dragging nodes now shows helper lines along with snapping based on the nearest node
• Revamped Settings layout, with new usage panel and more information around billing

One of our core goals is to build a sustainable business for years to come. Unfortunately, image generation models have been getting more expensive overtime, and this made it very difficult to continue making revenue from our fixed pricing model.

We want to support all types of users, from friends and families that just want to generate a few emojis, to professionals and businesses that end up generating thousands of images (using much more expensive models).

In order to fullfill this mission, and even unlock new features like video models, we decided to move to a credit usage system. No action is needed from you, and each user will be automatically given credits based on their active subscription.

One more thing...

We're still holding true to the early adopters that believed in us and bought a lifetime subscription. While we won't be able to offer credits for newer and much more expensive models (i.e. GPT), we're committed to providing unlimited emoji generations indefinitely. Enjoy!

Peeking in the future

Over the past couple of weeks, we've been diverting our attention towards a new product.

We believe that the design community is ripe for an inflection point. The use of AI is starting to disrupt many traditional design tools, and this is only going to accelerate with time.

Our first step towards building an AI native creative suite are design workflows. Automating tasks like product photography, AI photoshoots, UGC and more!

Expect many more updates on this topic and even a new website very soon.

Whether you're looking for Emojis, 3D Illustrations, or something else, you can now browse assets by category.

Model Pages

To make it easy to find your ideal style, each model comes with a dedicated page where you can browse it's generations and check useful metadata like it's format (i.e. SVG, PNG).

Search with all the bells and whistles

At last, search got it's own dedicated page that actually works. You can filter by category, popularity, see results count and more! If you have ideas for new filters, like filtering by model or color palette, let us know!
